On June 20th Jurassic Forest invited me to give a talk on theropod teeth. Jurassic Forest is a dinosaur theme park located on the outskirts of Edmonton. In this park you can walk through several routes where you can watch animatronic dinosaurs as if they were living in their natural environment. They are very well made and are activated by motion sensors. They have worked hard to have a major educational program and develop many activities. Among these activities are the series of talks to which I was invited.

The talk was a success. There were about fifty children that were delighted to learn about dinosaur teeth and how they ate. They asked many questions and I had a really good time. The facilities are great. They have a room with different replicas of dinosaurs, a playground with swings and activities and routes to see the animatronic dinosaurs.

The two routes that are available to see the dinosaurs also have different information about the wildlife that you can find around which makes it a more complete visit.

One of the things that made me laugh were the different signals that are scattered around the park and in the entrance. They are very imaginative and I think that are a great add to the atmosphere.
